Dear Reader, Love Peter J. White

Dear Reader…
You about to embark on a journey into darkness. The events in these books are based on real events. I won’t distract you right now with links and whatnot, but feel free to check out my website. I’ve got a lot of stuff there now, and will be adding a lot more in weeks and months to come.

There’s a darkness to my work, and that’s because there’s a darkness loose in the world.

One of the more haunting things I’ve ever read is the “welcome” letter the Toybox Killer presented to his victims. If you research him, you will find the kinds of practices that inform these books.

The main character, Max Sinclair, is a composite of three persons: an old buddy of mine from my days in Thailand (a true-life Crocodile Dundee), a trace of the main character in Herman Hesse’s classic, Demian¸ and me (if I were a lot more badass than I actually am).

I loved writing these novels. They pull together all my interests: the supernatural, spiritualism, good/evil, kickboxing. MMA, Thailand, travel, and more. I wrote them for myself and every time I edit or revise one, I feel a pleasant rush of surprise as I realize how good the work is.

Finally, I am grateful that you are reading my work. I spend about a year per novel and there is nothing more gratifying than to hear from someone who really likes my writing.

Feel free to contact me. I answer every email I get.

Yours in gratitude,
Peter J. White

“Peter J. White and his Ghost Hunter: The Hollow Men should be at the top of that list and profiled on library book recommendation lists as a standout.” —D. Donovan, Senior Reviewer, Midwest Book Review/Editor, Donovan’s Literary Services.
