Dear Reader,

In what ways has fear gripped areas of your life, and prevented you from pursuing God's Good Purposes and the dreams He's put in your heart? All of us, in one way or another, have struggled with the paralyzing effects of fear. Fear will rob us of the joy of life, if we allow it to. And, fear will prevent us from fulfilling God's Good Purposes for our lives....if we allow it to obtain territory and dominion in our lives.

Fear, and more specifically, the fear of man has ensnared the lives of many people, and has enslaved them into living a life that is far below God's Kingdom Purposes for their lives, and prevents them from achieving their God-given potential. However, we must also recognize that living under the control and dominion of fear is a choice, not an accident, and it definitely is not God's design for us.

While we all face fearful situations and circumstances, and are confronted by many things in our culture today that exalt themselves against the Knowledge of Christ, which use methods of intimidation, manipulation, aggression, deception, harassment, and various degrees of threats, with the objective to incite fear for the purpose of control and dominion over our lives, we still have the choice to resist and overcome this fear, or bow to it, and allow it to become our master.

The devil's two favorite "weapons" against humanity are fear and deception, and they operate "hand-in-glove" with each other to oppress and destroy the lives of many. How do we "outsmart" the devil, and overcome his fearful and deceptive methods? How do we arise above fear, and fulfill God's Kingdom Purposes for our lives, and empower others to do the same?

It all begins in our minds! The direction of our minds will set the course and direction of our lives, and the direction of our lives will influence and impact the direction and course of our Nation. The devil is fully aware of this, and that is why he wants dominion over our minds. A fearful mind 

produces a fearful, ineffective and defeated life. This is not God's Purpose or Design for us because Scripture declares that the Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but rather a Spirit of Love, Power and a Sound Mind.

What has the Holy Spirit been calling you to do for God's Kingdom, that you haven't been willing to do because of the fear of failure, or the fear of other people's negative opinions and criticism, or fear of a lack of support from others? In Revelation chapter 3, verse 11, Jesus encourages us, exhorts us, and warns us to not allow anyone to steal our crown, which consists of our Faith, God's Call & Purpose for our lives, and our Stewardship. We will give an account to God for these three things, and fear is the thief that works through other people and circumstances in an effort to steal these three essential things.

Overcoming fear to pursue, live-out, and fulfill God's Kingdom Purposes for your life is essential to inspiring and empowering others to live effective lives for the Glory of God and to advance God's Kingdom in the world around you.

In 2012, Luke Uebelher began serving and supporting the needs of sex-trafficking and domestic violence survivors by working in partnership with ministries that are led by trafficking and abuse survivors. Under the guidance and leadership of his pastors, his ministry expanded to also serving and supporting the needs of homeless Military Veterans, and ministries in the Philippines. Luke and his wife Maggie were married in 2018 and have a home in the Philippines. Luke travels between the United States and the Philippines for business and ministry services.
