Dear Reader,
My name is Veronica Frances,
author of Tickling Daphne H. I am also the proud author of my new
non-fiction book Let’s Talk About Tickling. I am known as the
TickleWriter in some circles. Yes, I write about tickling and greatly enjoy it.
When I am not writing about tickling, I am writing poetry, songs, fiction,
non-fiction and being creative as often as I can.
This is a most unusual journey
I have taken and I am very happy to be able to say I am now ready to share this
exciting learning experience with my readers.
I must say I have reached a
very peaceful place within myself. As I was writing this book, I kept wondering
how personal to make these pages. How much of myself should I reveal? In fact,
pondering that question kept me up nights and kept me on this journey a bit
longer than anticipated. But, then I realized that tickling is as much a part
of me as my own skin. In fact, the sensations of tickling are built into my
skin, as they are built into everybody’s skin. So, this journey is ongoing and
important and that is not only okay, but simply fabulous.
So, this is very personal for
me. How can it not be? How can a person’s journey into sensuality be anything
but personal? Every page herein was worked on with love and the passion I was
born with and meant to share with the world.
Let’s Talk About Tickling has left a very special bookmark in my life. Whatever happens in my
future writing career, this book has left footprints in my personal life
journey that will lead me forward to continue to do the work I am meant to do.
It is my hope that all or most
of my readers can access their inner tickle, as I have accessed mine. It is
also my hope that after reading this book, they can become more sensually
self-aware, with the realization that tickling is not merely the whisper of a
feather on the flesh. It is an echo that calls us from deep within, beckoning
us to listen and respond.
